Client's Testimonials

“It was so exiting watching thousands of wildebeest crossing the serengeti, it was an experience of its own, never seen such a thing before, just in Tanzania, just with Ipam Safaris.”

Late Bookings

If you book your Tanzania holiday well in advance of your desired travel dates (6 months before is ideal) then we usually have no problem getting you reservations at all of the accommodations you desire. If however we have a little less time to work and find that your first choice accommodations are unavailable we immediately make bookings at alternate, comparable locations and, time permitting, we present you with the details of these accommodations for your final decision.

The number of accommodations available to those headed on a Tanzania holiday are increasing and we have had good success in securing excellent locations for our customers even at the last minute, often because desirable accommodations become available as block bookings are canceled and rooms released.

It is quite common for the larger tour operators who regularly organize group tours to book at whole block of rooms at a certain location in the anticipation that their planned tours will operate fully booked. There are many lodges that allow this without requesting a deposit but they do either require upfront payment for the rooms or that if they are not going to be needed the rooms be released as the occupancy date approaches.

This can mean two things for private tourists – one that it may be harder to secure accommodations at lodges where group tours are common and two, those booking late may be able to secure harder to get rooms as they become available, released from a block booking.
